講義について

In my debate seminar, students will develop their English debating skills through structured debates, argument development, and critical engagement with opposing viewpoints. Through interactive activities, discussions, and team-based preparation, they will practice essential skills such as constructing logical arguments, making rebuttals, evaluating sources, and delivering persuasive speeches. Students will have the opportunity to select themes, issues, and debate topics based on their interests. By the end of the course, they will gain confidence in expressing their opinions clearly, thinking critically, and participating effectively in academic debates in English.

高校生へのメッセージ

Learning English means more than memorizing words and grammar rules. You should use English in meaningful, authentic ways – communicating naturally in real situations. One of the best ways to improve is by enjoying books, videos, and stories that are easy to understand. This helps you absorb the language naturally and makes English a part of your daily life. Real practice and authentic communication – both inside and outside the classroom – are key to becoming a confident language user. Stay motivated, keep using English, and continue learning beyond the classroom.
