DCE teachers, students, interns and friends braved the heat and hiked from Omika station to Mayumi Shrine together. It was a difficult hike in the Hitachi Alps, but the group had a great time together. At the end of the hike, we ate American-style barbeque at one of the teacher’s houses. The students on the trip were able to challenge themselves physically as well as with their language abilities 6 hours together.

現代英語学科の教員が、学生、インターン生、そして友人たちと一緒に、猛暑と格闘しながら、大みか駅から真弓神社までハイキングをしました。日立アルプスで難しいハイキングでしたが、みんなで楽しい時間を過ごせました。ハイキングの最後には、教員の一人の家で、アメリカンスタイルのバーベキューをしました。6時間に及ぶ活動を通して、ハイキングに参加した学生たちは、英語力の面でも体力の面でも、自身を鍛えることができました。
