まだ日本語での解答は心配ということで、今回は英語でインタビューに答えてもらいました。

  I am learning Japanese because I want to establish better communication with Japanese people. I wat to share the beauty of my country and educate people about my rich culture. I also think that learning another language will be a stepping stone in my future career.

（私は日本人とよりコミュニケーションを取りたいと思い、日本語を学んでいます。私は自分の国の美しさや豊富な文化について日本の方々を知ってもらいたいと思っています。また、外国語を学ぶことは私自身の将来の夢に繋がっていくと考えています。）

 I'm still young and inexperienced. I have yet to learn many things. As an exchange student, I hope to broaden my perspective and be open to differences. Through this opportunity, I believe that my mindset will change and I'll grow to become a better person.

（私はまだ若く、経験不足なところがあります。まだ多くのことを学びたいです。留学生として、視野を広げ、ものの捉え方を幅広くすることが目標です。この経験を通して、今持っている概念が変化し、人としての成長ができると考えています。）

 I think thath Ibaraki Chiristian High School trains future leaders.I observed how everyone in this school works hard to create a better future for themselves.

（茨城キリスト教学園高等学校は将来のリーダーを育てていると思います。この学校で、私は生徒みんなが自分自身の将来をより良くするために頑張っていると感じています。）

 Many things make both the Philippines and Japan uniqe. The differences between these two countries are the weater, the school life, and the food. In the Philippines, there are only two seasons: rainy and dry seasons. When I went outside og the airport, a cold breeze passed by and I shivered from the cold. I remember thinking, "Oh, I'm in Japan". School life  was what shocked me the most. During lectures, the students remain silent. In my country, students talk during class lectures. Also, there is no such thing as indoor shoes when going inside a Philippine school. Lastly, rice is a staple in both Japan and Philipines. The  difference is that Filipino cuisine has a lot of strong flavors while Japanese cuisine has a more moderate taste. An example of this would be "sinigang"(a sour soup of the Philippines) and "miso soup"(a seaweed and tofu of Japan).

 フィリピンと日本では多くの違いがあります。特に気候の違い、学校生活、食べ物の違いを感じています。
フィリピンでは雨季と乾季の２つの季節しかありません。私が空港を出たとき、とても冷たい風が吹いてきて、あまりの寒さに震えてしまいました。「あぁ、私は日本にいるんだ！！」と感じたのを覚えています。学校生活の違いは大きな衝撃でした。授業中はとても静かに授業を受けています。私の国では授業中でも生徒同士がおしゃべりをしています。また、上靴と外靴があるということも、フィリピンではないことです。最後に、ご飯は日本とフィリピンの主食です。しかし、フィリピン料理は多くの香辛料を使っていますが、日本食はとてもまろやかな味です。たとえば、「シニガン」（フィリピンの酸味のあるスープ）と「みそ汁」（日本の海藻と豆腐のスープ）との違いのようなものです。

 The main activities that I enjoy playing the violin, playing online games, reading books, traveling, and sollecting Gudetama themed objects. The subjects that I prefer are science and english. So far, my favorite Japanese dish is miso soup. In my free time, I like talking to my fellow Filipino AKP friends and spending time with my host family.

（私の趣味はヴァイオリンを弾くこと、オンラインゲームをすること、本を読んだり旅行をしたりすること、また「ぐでたま」のグッズを集めることです。勉強では理科と英語が好きです。好きな日本食はみそ汁です。時間があれば、フィリピンの「アジア高校生架け橋プロジェクト」の友人たちと話したり、ホストファミリーと一緒に過ごすことが楽しみです。

 Part of my bucket list is to visit Tokyo Disnyland and Shibuya Crossing. Althogh challenging, I also want to meet a geisha. Visiting traditional places like Shirines is also important for me. I'm lokking forward to eating more Japanese food as well.

（私のやりたいことリストの中に、東京ディズニーランドへ行くことと渋谷のスクランブル交差点へ行くことが入っています。難しいことかもしれませんが、芸者さんも見てみたいです。神社のような伝統的な場所を訪れることも、私位にとっては大切なことだと思っています。たくさんの日本食を食べることも楽しみの一つです。）

 During these five months, we may encounter challenges with our studies or maybe with communicating with one another. But I know how hardworking you are as I have seen it myself. Thank you for welcoming and treating me as your own classmate. May we look forward to more memories together!

（これからの5か月間、勉強面でもコミュニケーション面でも困難なことに直面するかもしれません。しかし、私はこれまでの自分がそうであったように、一生懸命にやっていきます。1人のクラスメイトとして迎え入れてくれてありがとうございます。一緒にたくさんの思い出を作っていきましょう！）
