Reading

このクラスでは４技能のうちとくにReadingの技能を学習する。１年生、２年生の必修クラス。学生は教室に来る前にテキストを読んで内容を理解しておき、教室では教員との質疑応答において理解が正しいかどうか確認する。また、事前に理解できなかったところは教員に質問して理解を徹底させる。

　小テストを３回行う。そして、学生たちは教室の外で合計６冊の平易な原書を読んで、要約や感想文を、レポート用紙１，２枚程度書いて提出する。

Reading is especially studied among four skills in this class. This is a required class for first- and second-year students. The students understand the content reading the text before coming to the classroom, and students confirm their understanding through questions and answers with the teacher in the classroom. Moreover, students question the teacher on the parts of the text which they were not able to understand before class and assure their understanding.

There will be three quizzes . Students write one or two summaries or the impressions and submit to the teacher after reading six easy English books outside the classroom.
