CIS(Controlled Independent Study)は本学独自の授業形態です。受講者が自ら選ぶ 課題を消化しながらポイントを重ねていくもので、規定のポイント（以上）を獲得し た者が単位を取得し、その完成度・達成度によって評価を受けます。現在CIS-Movies、 CIS-English Reading、CIS-English Karaoke、CIS-Dramaの４種類が開講されていま す。いずれも「総合英語」（現代英語学科の学生は「CIS」）として履修します。

Controlled Independent Study (CIS) is our own style of class. Students complete various projects in their own chosen area of study. Each project earns them points towards a final grade and credit for the course. We presently offer CIS-Movies, CIS-English Reading, CIS-English Karaoke, and CIS-Drama. Students from outside the Department of Contemporary English may also take CIS as General English.
